FIELD NOTE 02 · REEL FEATURES

A closer look at the moving parts.

A plain-language introduction to Free Spins, Hold & Spin, expanding Wilds and cascades.

The cabinet’s feature filters describe real mechanics in the catalogue. These notes introduce the names; the game’s own rulebook supplies the precise conditions.

Free Spins: a sequence inside the game.

A qualifying symbol combination can open additional spins. The trigger, number of spins and any multipliers depend on the individual game. Their results add only fictional virtual chips.

Hold & Spin: keep the qualifying pieces.

A feature can hold qualifying symbols while the remaining positions receive a limited number of re-spins. New qualifying pieces may reset the counter. The game explains what stays, what resets and how the final amount is calculated.

Expanding Wilds: a larger footprint.

Some Wild symbols can cover extra positions or a whole reel. Character adventures may have several stages with different Wild appearances and effects. The paytable describes what each Wild can substitute for.

Cascades: another reveal in the sequence.

A cascade can replace or transform symbols across successive reveals. The eligible positions and scoring method come from that game’s rules. The same feature label does not imply identical mathematics across the cabinet.

Use the filters as a starting point.

Find a feature in the cabinet, then open a preview and the game’s information page. Filters change which cards you see; they do not alter any result or the chance of triggering a feature.
