A game can wait. You can leave a session unfinished, quieten the effects or decide that another activity would feel better today.
Keep the fiction in view.
Oilchemists uses free virtual chips that stay inside its games. They cannot be purchased, transferred or redeemed. Character reactions, celebrations and feature sequences belong to the imagined game world.
A result is a random game outcome. A colourful animation is not a reason to extend a session or expect a particular next result.
Set a boundary that feels useful.
Play comfort offers sound, motion and reminder choices. A reminder is an opportunity to pause; you can also close a game or preview whenever you choose.
The break controls below restrict play for the selected period. A signed-in account break applies across its sessions and cannot be shortened through ordinary player controls. A guest break belongs to this browser and may be lost if its site storage is cleared.
Give a pause room to work.
When you choose a break, let it stand. Do not create a different account to get around it. You can still use the information and support pages while account play is restricted.
Independent support.
If gambling or gambling-style games are affecting your wellbeing, independent support is available through GamCare at gamcare.org.uk. If you are in immediate danger, use the emergency services.
The Oilchemists desk handles account and game questions. It does not provide clinical care or crisis support.

A break that stays in place.
A confirmed break immediately signs you out on every device and blocks account login and play for the chosen period. It cannot be cancelled or shortened. Do not create another account or use guest play to get around a break.
